Former West Brom and Newcastle United striker Solomon Rondon has confirmed Manchester United made a move for him in the winter transfer window. He stated that all the rumours about the interest were real and not smoke in the wind.

Ighalo has impressed since making the move to Manchester. He made his debut for the club against Chelsea. He was brought in the 88th minute in place of Anthony Martial. He came close to adding to the score line, as he was put through on goal, but his effort was well gathered by Willy Caballero. The Nigerian international has since scored 4 goals in 8 appearances for the club. The form of the Nigerian international has earned him praise from legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson. Sir Alex stated that the player has shown that he truly loves the club and his passion can be seen on the field of play.
His deal was to expire by June, but due to Covid19, he will stay and conclude the season with Manchester United.
